Temples

Over 10,000 Buddhist pagodas, temples and monasteries were constructed at Bagan on the plains of the Ayeyarwady River in Myanmar between the 11th and 13th centuries. Over 2000 still survive. Visits in early and late 2016 show the differences in the seasons and the impact of an earthquake on the fragile structures.
